BHKN Launches Interactive "Ask A Librarian" Feature

The Black Hills Knowledge Network is pleased to announce the latest development in our partnership with Rapid City Public Library. We have now launched the “Ask A Librarian” widget with all posts. Users may ask local librarians for more information on community issues in real-time. Look to the right-hand sidebar on all news posts to find this new feature. Please note that library associates are only available to respond during library hours.

The Black Hills Knowledge Network and the Rapid City Public Library have fostered a meaningful partnership over the past 7 years. This collaboration ensures community members continue to have access to local information, history, and resources in the digital age. Six library associates maintain a steady flow of news posts on topics ranging from civic life and history to health and recreation. They also author and update hundreds of resource pages that take an in-depth, primary document oriented look at community issues and city affairs from the Civic Center Expansion to urban wildlife issues.

To learn more about the faces behind this collaboration, check out our team and project partners page.
