Piedmont - Demographics & Population
The 2010 U.S. Census showed Piedmont had a population of 222, although the population has since increased to around 1,100 through voluntary annexations.
At the time of the census, the median age was 43.8. Of the 101 household, 64 included children. Of those, 22 included children under the age of 18. About half of the households – 54 – included a husband and wife living together. The average household size was 2.20.
The census also showed that there were nine vacant housing units, including one for rent and one for sale. Of the occupied units, 68 percent were owner-occupied and 33 percent were rented.
