Judge Rules on Fish Garbage Case Document Debate
The Rapid City Journal is reporting the judge presiding over Rapid City's civil suit against Fish Garbage has ruled on the request made by the attorney for the city for business records from the former garbage hauler. Judge Paul Kean ruled that Fish must provide electronic records of billing information in a usable form. The records are in a format that requires special software to access the data, but Fish's license for the program is not current. Judge Kean also ruled that attorneys for Fish must only provide access to boxes of physical records and do not have to find specific documents to support the city's case.
