Deadwood Casino Revenue Sets Record in 2012

Table game income saw the biggest percentage jump, at 17 percent, while slot machines had the biggest dollar amount increase, at $5 million, the Black Hills Pioneer reports.

Table game revenue went from $8.9 million in 2011 to $10.4 million in 2012. The slot machine income was up 5.4 percent year over year. See a detailed breakdown of the numbers in the South Dakota Commission on Gaming report attached to this post.

The casinos' collective income of $107.4 million is an all-time record, the Lead-DeadwoodCommunity.com website reported.

Casino operators had varying opinions on how a new statewide smoking ban has affected business in Deadwood.
